Default MPC Eagle Build

Hey Guys,

Just thought I should my progress on my 22 inch MPC Eagle build. I have enjoyed this forum for years but haven't had a build to share, so it is.
I added some extra greeblies from HO scale Train kits the castings are very crisp and each kits ranges from about $5.00 - $10.00 and they go along way. I added some weight to the front nose and a few in the front, "Box," to equal the aluminum engine bells. The paint is Tamiya with a drop of black and few drops of Deck Tan. The back engine assembly is just dry fitted for now. Thanks for looking any advice is welcome.

I don't FaceBook. Is there another heading here I should post it on here? Is that why you are the only one in days to give me a good word on my work?

It might help if you included the images in the post as images rather than links. Sadly Dropbox won't let you link the images directly so you need to use an image hosting site such as Village Photos which is apparently easier to use than Flickr http://village.photos/

dropbox will image host but you have to change the endo of the link from "dl=0" to "raw=1"

my eagle build over on britmodeller has all its image hosting linked directly from dropbox in this way

Here are a few more pics. I used a lite grey oil wash over the model some sections still need the wash and matte finish. The black parts are all painted on the C.M., and landing pods. The strips on the spine are painted as well.

Looks beautifully done so far, just same links problem to display the pics directly there, to make it fully enjoyable.

( No Facebook either, but it seems many here have jumped to this other world.... )

Why some people want to post on Facebook when there's proper sites like this and SM I don't know. Glad to see others are snubbing that site too. Especially as it's nothing more than a site which is used to spy on people.

Default Finished

Thanks Guys! Well I finished and glad to be done. I did reach a saturation point with this kit as there is a lot of monkey business involved and in my rush to finish I screwed up the landing pod arrangement, oh well I am still very happy with it and the next one will be better! I also didn't weather the bottom of the passenger pod, I figured I wouldn't see it that often and I wanted to move on with my life. I also need to set up a proper photo-booth someday. Hope ya like it!

Wow, absolutely stunning work you've done there. I enjoyed every photo, and what attention to detail you've done. I'm very impressed with your work. If it's ok I'd like to share it on my group page? Next up the Cargo/Winch eagle?
