The usually reliable Justin Hayward is definitely out of place. There are two stonking good episodes, one where they unearth a relic on Mars and the other borrows heavily from The Andromeda Strain. I won't illucidate in case you haven't seen them yet.

Cpt.Power if I remember right you could buy a toy gun and shoot at the TV screen and somehow it would register.
Your welcome.

Yes Captain Power was the show with the toy gun gimmick. I never tried it myself so I don't know if it actually worked.

Just remembered another one. "Alien Nation".

It was a good story with aliens living on earth but the cheesy masks they wore where terrible. Remember the wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper? He had a part in it I think.

Alien Nation the series was OK but it was basically just a police show with a bit of a twist. I cannot remember Roddy Piper being in Alien Nation the movie or the series, but its been so long since I have seen either I may well have forgotten, however he was in the John Carpenter movie They Live.

Space Precinct had some tremendous effects.. other aspects of the production let it down.

About a couple of shows mentioned earlier: Phoenix Five - wow, I can't believe someone remembers that. I think ATV Midlands showed it on Sunday mornings in the early 70s... for years I thought I'd imagined it.

Project UFO - I enjoyed this as many episodes were based on cases I had read about in books on the subject. The craft designs were interesting but very obviously kit bashed in some cases
Theres a pretty comprehensive website about it here:
http://www.glowingdial.com/p_ufo.htm

They used to stream whole episodes but I think it may have stopped now.

No, I was just trying to think of more TV shows to add to the list.

My favorites would be

"Stargate Atlantis"

"Star Trek" (original)

"Space 1999"

"UFO"

"Thunderbirds"

"Star Trek Enterprise"

"Battlestar Galactica" (old and new version)

"Lost in Space" ( loved it as a kid )

"The Outer Limits" (old series)

Ok then, most of these have been mentioned before so purely for my own self-indulgence:

UFO Best Sci-Fi ever!
The Prisoner;
Thunderbirds;
Doctor Who - all except John Pertwee. Some of the best ever are still missing
Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons;
The Avengers - Emma Peel era;
Life on Mars;
Red Dwarf;
Adam Adamant Lives!
Timeslip;
Torchwood;
Fireball XL5;
Stingray;
Futurama;
Max Headroom just the pilot;
The Time Tunnel;
The Invaders;
Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea;
The Outer Limits original series.
