Gawd I was born near there...........has it changed much in 37 years???

Got a couple of the SPV's, they look ok though Tony42's suggestion of a clean-up job sounds good. Ive got a Stingray on its way to me from the Product Enterprise site, always wanted a model of this sub.
Almost forgot the FAB1, great replica though has a cheapo canopy
Thus far am Eagle-less, though I did price shipping from UK to Oz for the Prop Replica version.....still waiting on their reply

Future releases, the MSV & Joe 90's car thanks

Default PE Mobiles - dirty, less dirty, clean?

Dear All,

well I already had a Mobile 2 which I had bought as clean version.
The body is clean except there are a few very tiny dust like areas.
But the tracks and wheels do have more dirt.
Today I received the dirty Mobiles 1, 2 and Control.
1 and Control having much dirt, but the 2 has lesser than the other two but
more dirt than my clean one, means it has an overall slight dirt fog all around which lools very good.
So question, are there also Mobile 2s with a stronger dirt finish?
If so I think I need to have that one also... :-)

Yes, there are P.E. Shado 2 Mobiles with stronger dirt but it doesn't look very good. My first one had the heavy weathering. I sold it on Ebay when I found the less weathered version was available.

Default Many thanks.... (more)

....for your answer.
I just found a pic with a stronger finished Mobile 2.
Yes you are right, the dirt finish really looks bad.
So, additiional question:
are the 1 and the Control also existing with a cleaner finish?

Senmen here is the thread on it. I have found the easiest way to "wipe the dirt off" is with Acetone. You can't use it on the plastic and you have to be careful with the decals, but read the whole thread and you can see what various people have done. I've also played with the "clone brothers" to vary the look. All four of mine were the dirty versions and as you can see they clean up beautifully.

I've also worked out a simple system for lowering the wheels a tad as the springs used make them ride way too high.
