Default Eagle Laser Turret kit (for PE 12" die-cast)

I had a couple of hours to spare so I have decided to scratchbuild a Laser Turret (still need to be finished). Let me know what you think:

http://www.geocities.com/adumas02/eagle.html

I have somewhat of a stupid question - Is the laser located at the front or at the end of the Eagle? Logically I think it would fit better at the end because of the space needed when retracted...

I'm thinking of kitting (resin) this one along with the pod access stairs/rails in a same kit. I was wondering if there's enough interest? (USD $20-$30)

That's a nice little accessory.

Logically, it doesn't fit at all as it's too big to clear the framework of the cages. It's another one of those artistic licence anomolies.

That is a cool little accessory - good to go with the 12" side boosters.

Maybe the barrel of the gun sort of telescopes in and out for either storage or deployment. Looks sort of like it could...maybe.

I have watched the two episodes featuring the laser turret and it doesn't seem like the barrel is retracted when stored. However, I think that the laser is inclined downward when expending ...probably to help clear it out the framework. It would work like that on my 12" version by the way

And thanks for the great comments everyone!
