Default 'Beowulf'

I just watched 'Beowulf' and the CG was fantastic!
Very close to being indistinguishable from real life. Anthony Hopkins actualy looked like his real self for the most part. The movie itself wasn't bad. I didn't have the feelings for Beowulf that I had for King Leonidis in '300'. Grendal has to be one of the most repugnant creatures I've ever seen in a movie and the way he thrashes those warriors is shocking! I can see why Beowulf fell for Grendals mom. Angelina Jolie is gorgeous in CG! I would have never left her cave!

Another beautiful CG movie is "Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within". A must for sci-fi fans!

I wonder if CG movies will become the norm in the future?? Look at some of the cut scenes in video games!

The live action version with Gerard Butler is not a bad film if you get the chance to see it.

Haven't seen the CGI version yet. I just liked the general feeling of the live action version. It had a good "Dark ages" feel to it. A bit like the Thirteenth warrior.
