Default What was that series?...

There was a series on BBC I think - late 70's/early 80's; Kraftwerk's 'Autobahn' was the theme tune (I think) - any ideas?

I think at one point they did have a Kraftwerk song but it's definitely not that.

Default King Cinder

Hi , the show you are thinking of was a childrens BBC programme called King Cinder. It was made in 1977 and starred Peter Duncan ( Blue Peter , Space 1999 year 2 exiles ) as a speedway bike rider . The story was about a criminal gang in a british seaside town . I remember it because I used to watch it , but like you I had forgotten the title but I was able to look it up because I remembered Peter Duncan was in it, hope that helps !

I still don't remember it but thanks for clearing it up. Maybe I just caught the tail end when the theme was playing out?...

The music was played at the begining and end of the programme but the BBC only put it on once and there was only one series, it was never repeated, easy to forget it after all this time if you were just a casual viewer. I am amazed I could remember it !
