Buggy inside the Eagle. I actually used a buggy I scratch built (what was it someone said about being crazy?) as opposed to the one from the gift set.

First shot shows it occupying the ordinary seat location:

Second shot shows the forward port closet section removed and the buggy put in it's place.
Looks to me like the buggy would indeed fit in here.

I was long overdue for an update to this post anyway, and had planned on uploading some shots this weekend before the buggy debate started up.

Here is a shot that shows the passenger wall replaced, with the two roof sections still removed for viewing.

Thanks very much John!! In fact, it looks like there is room for TWO Moonbuggies there.

Your interior is looking WONDERFUL by the way.

Default Buggy Fit?

A nice build up indeed; however, would the moon buggy fit in and out of the Pod hatch? Sorry, had to play 's advocate. Sounds like a new Pod design with a larger side hatch for buggy egress. I know they Eagle lifted buggies on the show, they just didn't show it. Again, sweet job!

I was transferring files to my backup drive, when I ran across this photo. While I was doing one of my original photo shoots, my roommate was very curious about the whole thing. This was an unposed picture of her studying the pod.

It gave me quite a chuckle, and I really had to ressurect the thread and share.

Reminds me a little of that ST:TOS episode Catspaw.
