Default first konami konversion!

hi all! last week i got one of my seven rescue eagles re painted back to standard eagle configuration. the one concern i had in doing this was how to keep the little alpha logos clean when i airbrushed the pod. what i did was to paint around all 4 logos with a teeny brush , then put a blob of maskol over the logo and the little white outline i now had, then it was airbrushed and weathered over
p.s. only the pod was painted, and in these pics the slight colour difference looks worse

Very nice job indeed. I sprayed mine with Games Workshop Skull white. And by mistake while dirtying them down I found rubbing a cotton bud dipped in white spirit rubbed the paint off to reveal the Alpha logos. White spirit should NOT have worked on that paint so I can only assume it had not entirely bonded with the rubbery plastic. Saved a lot of work though!

it was plasti-cote flat white from my local b+q when i started, but it was way too stark compared to the konami white. i added some humbrol 147 light grey to tone it down a bit, and gave it some heavy weathering to further "grey" it out. i would love to know what paint konami used on these, it definatly is more VERY pale blue grey than white
