OMG! you have pschic abilities far beyond those of mortal men.
I was just about to check around the forums. That was one of my
favorite toys and I wanted to see if I could find another one
but I could not for the life of me remember what it was called.

How did you do that?

Jeeez!
I had one of those!
Begged my mother for it and when I got it was pretty bored with it rather quickly!

Wonder what happened to it...

I've got one spare. I'll bung it in the Emporium shortly.

I had one as a kid. How cool! Unfortunately, when my mom cleaned out her house (including my old room) several years ago, it got thrown out, along with an Interplanetary UFO, a Colonial Viper kit, a Cylon Raider kit, a ST: TMP Klingon cruiser....

I have to move on to something else now because I'm depressed.....

I wanted one of those toys, and my best childhood friend had one (and the Command Base, too). The last time I saw one in person was shortly after I'd moved to a different state, and saw another kid playing in a park with his... by tossing it through the air!

Default Star Bird.

Just found this post.

I still have one and it works.

Drives the cats crazy when I tilt it up and down.

Couldn't beleive these are making a comeback as a sought after toy.

I had one of the original StarBirds, back when. Very cool toy.

I still have a StarBird Intruder, new in the box.

So, superswift & Shane, since announcing that you have those old toys, how many offers to buy them have flooded your PM inboxes?

No one. Wouln't part with it either.

Hard to find well made toys from made like this now.

Good electronics and durable plastic, not the cheap stuff of now.

Never had one myself, or even knew they existed. I did an Ebay search and there are quite a few about from really insane prices to some a little more affordable. I didn't know they were even available in Australia until I saw a fellow Aussie selling his on Ebay.

At least the prices on Ebay are reasonable now.

More people out there selling them, more available, good pickings at reasonable prices.

Just watch the shipping charges. Some people really inflate the shipping to make money.

Just realised, stick some engines on the side and loads of pipe work on the top and you've got yourself a Star Wars "Y-Wing Fighter"!
