No offense, Norsehound...But some of your story ideas (the moonbase having military aspects, different countries having their own shuttle/fighter spacecraft and warring factions of Earth causing problems on the base) sound scarily close to somebody elses on another message board. Just an observation.

I guess imitation is still the most sincere form of flattery! Or another case of "great minds think alike?"

It's wonderful to see so many people offer their take on a re-imagined Space:1999! It's equally gratifying to see that the Eagle is still a source of inspiration to us after all these years.
