Don't know how much faster the delivery can be, I ordered it yesterday and it just arrived a few minutes ago. Now I'm waiting for the lab eagle.

Here's a direct link to the VIP Eagle pic moonbus is talking about: http://www.space1999.net/~catacombs/.../b/spb0227.jpg

Here's a not-so-good quality pic of the smaller Eagle model used in long shots of the VIP Eagle over Alpha: http://www.space1999.net/~catacombs/...e/imea11a5.jpg It's from this page in The Catacombs: http://www.space1999.net/~catacombs/.../w2meagle.html

As of this afternoon (Sat), I now have a total of 5 12" eagles. My lab eagle, with booster pods, laser tank, and moonbuggy, came in the mail. I'll get a couple of pictures of the 'family' here shortly when I can get them all out of their boxes at once.

As for the VIP, it looks as if only the sides and raised section of the doors are painted orange. Anyone agree or disagree? Big question is what color or shade of orange is it?

Nice

Sorry to say it, but I think you soon will need a bigger table

And if you're saying now that you won't buy any more Eagles, well ...

Fozzy, you have been infected with the Eaglebug... there is no hope for you now, this time next year your family would have grown to 20+

I've said I wouldn't buy any more Eagles at least 3 times now...

And, of course, saying I wouldn't buy any more Eagles didn't include Hawks.

Not to worry. They are all safe and sound back in their boxes awaiting their final trip to a house (which hopefully and God willing, will not be too far in the future). I was wondering what the total inventory of eagles that Moonbase Alpha was supposed to have. I remember the number 26 in regards to this. If this is true, how many were of each type?

29 is the official number, but of course they did start to produce spares and more craft to replace all the ones Koenig and Carter crash, so you need to make allowances. I think 70 is fairly close to the number you'll need to buy. Great collection BTW
