Default 1/2500 Defiant, Valiant, and Archer

Just finished these little guys - all 1/2500 scale resin kits. The fourth ship of the group, an Akira-class, is just awaiting a decal set.

First off is the Defiant-class, produced by Odyssey Slipways and available through Starship Modeler:

Next is the Archer-class, originally produced by Ravenstar, now by Starship Creations in the UK:

Finally, the Valiant-class, based on a design in the DS9 handbook (preliminary design for the Defiant), again previously produced by Ravenstar now by Starship Creations:

None of these kits came with decals, so I produced my own for them.

Comments welcome.

Nice little ships, Tak. You're good at making those decals.

Nice little ships there!
I received my 1/2500 Defiant today

I was wondering how did you make the decals?

Thanks!

The decals were drawn in Adobe Illustrator then printed out on clear decal paper for laser printers. You want me to hunt down the artwork for you?

Did you get the Odyssey Slipways one? I still have the shuttle that goes with it somewhere ... probably the smallest model of a ship I own!

Yep, pretty cute ship. I got it to accompany my DS9 Station

I got the shuttle too... Now I"m thinking how the heck I'm going to paint that puny little thing...
Is that shuttle meant to somehow go under the Defiant inside that opening? Never saw where they keep the shuttle on the series yet...

The weather is pretty nice.
No wind at all, partly cloudy, and 20c.

Good weather for model building, because you don't sweat that much in your effort

Sounds good! It's dark here at the moment, but at least it's not raining!

And there's your fifth post!

We had bad weather almost all summer long, so we deserve some nice days like today. Maybe you got bad weather from us

Yeah, I can pm now!
