Some impressive pictures there. I'm thinking in the comments that it looks like something you would see in an episode of Thunderbirds. There's another piece of hardware that I think also had the 'Thunderbirds' look about it, and it flew but was cancelled.

How about this incredible Soviet project, sadly never built, the Yaklovlev VVP-6. Pure Gerry Anderson material:

That thing looks like the product of the most ingenious/insane minds of both the Soviet and Nazi aeronautical programs.

Here's a large Russian military hovercraft - the Zubr class Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), known to NATO as the Pomornik class.



When I was in the service we referred to the AK-630 gun turrets as 'Daleks'.
