Do you mean like this?

I have tons of the Pursuit ship.

I'll upload to the web and link to them so you can download in full resolution...

Give me an hour or so to sort them out...

Thanks Kevin, wished I'd gone. The quality of those builds are astonishingly good ,particularly the weathering on some of the tanks. The Sci fi ones were great. I particularly liked the Orion on the Boosters! And the Mars Water Explorer. Once again Thanks.

Super reference shots! I think that Attitude thruster block on the top of the Pursuit Ship hull looks a bit out of place!

They missed that one - seems obvious with both kits being made by Airfix - but there were some brilliantly funny W & G at the movies builds which were worthy of a book in their own right. The Beverly (Hull) Billies was one of the best, complete with lyrics. There were also takes on The Italian Job, two Bonds, Carry On (based on an A35 van that appeared in a Carry On movie), Ice Cold in Alex, and The Exorcist (complete with Rotatomatic spinning head Gromit !).

It was nice to meet some of you at the Nationals. Glad to hear you continued to enjoy yourselves afterwards !

Not much realspace or science fiction in the competition but lots of fantasy figures. Not really my thing. I met the guy (Martin - didn't catch his surname) who made the original model my Planetary Surface Vehicle is based on. He did the Looking for Water on Mars diorama and I probably took more photos of that than anything else at the show. I really liked the design and was most impressed with it.

The NASA SIG stand was most impressive and I've signed up for that. Next year's theme will be Apollo.

Was very temped with the large Angel Interceptor, but at 280 is pretty expensive and no idea where I could put it (though that has never stopped me in the past). In the end I only bought a can of Vallejo Matt varnish. Most disappointing in that respect.

I did notice that Mr. Models was selling a PE 23" Lab Eagle for 99.99 and I couldn't see any noticeable twist in the spine. But that only apeared on the Sunday. Any of our guys buy it?

Keith
