George E. Rochester wrote a lot of air adventures - was it one of his?

[quote=JD;92550]Yes, based on 'Marianne Dreams' by Catherine Storr. It came up some time ago on a similar thread, but stuffed if I can recall the serie's name now, either.

The series was called "Escape into night", seriously creepy. The moving stones freaked me out when I was a kid.
Here's a link to the series.

I've seen COTS. Pretty interesting and reminds me a bit of something Nigel Kneale might write.

I saw PAPERHOUSE in 1992 and it left quite an impression on me. Thanks for the info on the book and tv mini-series. I had no idea! Very neat.

I've read that there was an audiodrama based on Marianne Dreams. Not an audiobook, but a full on radio play. Any of you learned folks know anything about it? Is it possible to track it down?

I hope so, but no doubt eventually we'll have spamhead developers wanting to build their glorified eggboxes there.

Is Aylsebury under some sort of protection, like a Conservation order, that would be a good thing.
