Default Nuclear Waste Canister

Nuclear Waste Canisters - made with aluminium turned by Mike Reader. Top rings and flanges already there, only to add paint and decals.

More info in this thread (March 3 2007):

Those finished cannisters look really good.

Great stuff. My scratch build canisters are nearly finished. Therefore I am no candidate for ordering the aluminium ones. Sorry, Mike Reader...

Thanks guys. Here's a close-up, to better see the flanges. The laser printer gave some stripes in red/orange colour, but it's really not visible unless you look very, very closely.

Try reader@mts.net

They come in unfinished turned aluminium so you'll need to finish them with paint and decals...

You can buy blank decal paper for use in a printer, or if you need white on the image they also provide white paper

http://www.themodelcatalogue.com/aca...cal_Paper.html

just use a paint program to build up ur decal, print it out et voila

edit you also need to seal the decals... http://www.themodelcatalogue.com/ins...structions.PDF
