Default Matsucorp M41A Pulse Rifle

A dream comes true and the MATSUCORP M41-A Pulse Rifle arrives!

Words fail me.

Waiting for a few more 'goodies' to display this properly but here's a few rushed pics meanwhile. The "Bess Breen" (as I call it) colour was difficult to get right in these pics but I'll do it justice in due course...

Thanks Matsuo - all is well in the UK tonight.

Can you hear the faint 'ping' of the motion detector?

Absolutely fantastic - now you just need the Smart Gun and the turret things (and then a flamethrower) ...

"Turret things"?
Oh, the Sentry Guns! Yeah, you need those!
No, I'm not kidding.

Very nice! Is that a full metal build-up or a kit?

I've got a airsoft version that I love but yours looks real cool.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers. It's a mixed metal/resin piece - built entirely by Matt.

We beat the new UK replica firearms regulations import deadline by just hours. I was looking at a five year stretch if it had been delayed any more!

Five years jail-time for importing a non-functioning, non-firing resin replica that would explode if you put a banger in it never mind a cartridge... The world's gone PC mad, I swear.

I know there has been a spate of shootings in the UK recently and gun-related crime is no doubt rising, but does Tony Blair really think that an official government slap on the wrist will deter those who really want to get hold of the real thing? I think not. Crims have their own methods and they don't include declaring dangerous goods to HM Customs at ports of entry!

This comes off the top of my head (and I'm writing this while at work) so it's probably not the best way to sound off on the whys and wherefores of protecting or curtailing civil liberties, but some rules don't make sense.

Hopping off my soapbox now.

Anyway, Mark, still a great piece, sharp paint job and subtle weathering. Post pics when you get a nice wall display going. You'll be needing a new home with all these larger props you're buying!

(edit for societal differences...mainly flats in HK, few homes!)

reminds me...........

a long time ago........in a cinema foyer a long way away.....

the managment of the cinema chain had done a deal with the
"official" star wars fan club, that while they were screening the lastest star wars movie (ESB) fans who turned up to the friday night screening in costume would get in free.
so for months, that was friday night movie and a starwars pub crawl.
one night a new security guard decided all the guns and lightsabres had to go, and there ensued an almighty row of galactic proportions.
eventually managment were found and the guard was duly vanquished, but whats sad is that in todays post 911 sydney the result would be the reverse

very old models the lightsabre and customized Blastech Dl-44

and just for fun another 25 year old model
