Default Can We Get There, From Here? (We Wish...)

Ah, the colorful travel poster! Beckoning us to escape our little everyday lives, and to discover and explore all manner of new and exotic destinations...

Well, turns out our NASA friends at Caltech's Jet Propulsion Lab are taking the travel poster to places it's really never been - and I mean that quite literally!

Take a look, and see if you agree...

Boats...it's wonderful seeing this kind of stuff. Gerry Anderson was maybe "out" by 100 years but I suspect many of the things he imagined will come true, in the same way that flip-phones were viewed as the first Trek communicators. I feel privilidged to live in an era where I have literally been almost able to watch sci-fi grow and become COOL and in some cases - the REAL thing. The Spacex project being a great example.
