Here`s a few pics of the custom Ed Straker doll. I can take no credit for this! The head is from figure hobby, and a couple of very talented mates got together to source the fabrics and make the outfit. Love it to bits!

Very realistic looking. Give credit to others for the pcs needed, but I see credit due to the one that put it together like you Chris to have made it so.

That is a great looking figure Chris King. Is this painted by you or one of the ones they do if requested? The outfit is spot on. What a fantastic job. Do you plan on doing any of the other figures that the sculptor does heads of from UFO? I have seen the site and the faces look very good. What outfits do you plan to use on them if you are. Nice to see Straker in the classic outfit from IDENTIFIED. Just the way most toy companies go too with a look inspired by the first few episodes of a programme. If only Product Enterprise had done Ed Straker too. Thanks for posting some very interesting pictures.

Hi guys, again, please don`t credit me, I`m just lucky enough to have some clever mates. They`ll do Freeman and Foster next, very excited! The head is painted by Figurehobby, cost me 13 quid! My mate who sourced the fabric paints them too, arguably better. I`m tempted to get Straker some shades, or a cigarette, as a finishing touch.

WOW! For an extra few pounds they will do a paint job like this!! I am surprised we haven't seen more of these little Strakers around the web. Thanks for the background info too Chris King. Again top marks on a brilliant looking figure. Thanks for the welcome as well.

Love it!
EDIT: I've just had a look at Figurehobby's site. They've got Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw! |

Is figure hobby still around? I bought the UFO heads from them as well and always wanted a few others but can't seem to find them online any more. Did they stop making heads?
