"if I stick it on ebay will you buy it?" Sure would.
That latest craft you put shots up - didn't you have that at the Starburst SF convention in London about 79/80?
Met you there.
Whatever happened to the white and green ship you had there too? That was a cool design as well.

I remember watching Terrahawks after school. I will have to pick it up and watch it again. Great design on the ship Phil and great pics.

Absolutely love the Cobra ship as well. Was it ever used on screen?

"...by popular demand (all 2 of you)..."

Count me in as number three, albeit joining the party a bit late. I always liked the SpaceHawk, though I didn't actually see Terrahawks until just a couple of years ago!
That ship is a kit-spotter's dream, and those photos you posted show it off even better than the best shots in the actual tv show. Thanks for sharing them! (I love kitbashed stuff like this... I show pics like these to my kids to inspire them to see things in different ways & to use their imaginations when making their own models.)
I also like that other ship, the Cobra... looks inspired by some of the Ron Cobb designs for Alien. You know, the ones that didn't make it to the screen, but were still really cool designs.
Please do feel free to post more stuff like this!

Thank you very much for sharing these images. These are the best photos I've ever seen of Spacehawk. They could have been extras on the DVD set.

Thanks for your kind comments guys.
Cobra wasn't filmed, though Steven Begg wanted it for Terrahawks. At the time it represented my "portfolio" so I would'nt let him have it.....they'd have bust it up for sure......or blown it up! (Spacehawk was in a real state when I got it back).
The Cobra just came out of my head really....well that and eyeballing all the plastic junk I've collected over the years....just a question of seeing which chunks would fit together nicely to start from.
All my stuff tends to be kit bashed.....can't be arsed carving when you can get some fantastic shapes from household products. I also find that doing it this way "can" lead to a far more interesting design than would be impossible to fully imagine on paper.
Of course given I do it this way then it's no good asking me to work to someone elses design.....my stuff starts with a basic shape and then just sort of metamorphosises (spellink!) into the finished deal.
Actually I haven't completed anything in years...loads of half finisheds though.....been too busy designing pubs and the like in my (former) day job and collecting too of course.
Will post some more of my stuff soon.

All very well, but 'when is a house not a house?'

I was 10 when Terrahawks started. I liked it. First series at least.

wasn't the whole launch idea through the house just awful....note to Gerry...see me in my office after school!
Why didn't the Treehawk's tree LOOK like a tree?
More postings shortly...I haven't anything better to do now that the quacks at the NHS have "retired" me!

It's a shame nobody asked you though. I have a copy of the Japanese book Making of Terrahawks on order and was hoping it might contain images like the ones you've shared with us here. In any case, you're model work is fantastic and I hope you'll post more images of your original designs soon.

Of course, we nerds are the only people actually buying those dvd sets, so it would be perfect having those photos on them!

Exactly! Some of us are model builders as well and that stuff is inspirational to us. And as for the DVD sets them selves, the American releases (though I am glad to have them and finally see all the Anderson shows) are wimpy on special features. But posted here is probably better, and I look forward to seeing them!

Au contraire. I asked Dave Nightingale to pass a message on to you.

I got no response...

For some reason that's beyond me, dave Nightingale doesn't seem to want to know me anymore....what was the message?

I think I already mentioned my regret about using the TIE wings....too recognisable. have taken some flack about that over the years. Still they did the trick, and served their purpose.

Overlander's my favourite too. I have the original....very Century 21.
