Default 1612 Hawk paint corrections

My friend Doc loved his new 1612 Hawk with a few exceptions. He wanted it to appear as it did in the War Games episode. What he got in the mail did not correspond to what appeared to him on his new Blue Ray DVD set. So, we sat down and made a list of the changes he wanted, and I set to work to "make things right with the world". The link will take you to my "Doc's Hawk" album.

I've attached just a few of the pics that can be seen in the album. Enjoy.

Since he no longer builds much, he prefers to purchase what is available to him. Hence, the 1612 version. He is not the purist that I am when it comes to the Hawk. For him, the 1612 version was as I recall "good enough".

He has done a great job of the paintwork,it would have looked even better on an accurate model.
i think Jim Small does the large size build

It the same scale as the 44" Eagle,so it bigger than the 16/12 version (the Jim Small replica is bigger than the 16/12,and more accurate)
