This is me with five actors. I have edited the background by adding the main mission.

Great photo, Cellini! Is that Suzanne Roguette between you and Prentis Hancock? I'm having trouble trying to recognise the actress.

Yes, VoyagerOne. I don't know how old she is but still looking great.
Another picture below, with Alibe Parsons.

The lovely Sarah Bullen.

I mentioned to her the fact that in a picture it can be seen that her badge says S. Bullen instead of the name of her character "Kate". She confessed she never noticed that and asked John Hug (who sat next to her) if he had ever had a similar badge problem but he said no. They were both very amused at finding out this mistake; John suggested jokingly to sue the production for image damage...
I think this episode shows how much we fans care about all the details but that these are merely insignificant tools of work to the actors.
It makes sense. And I like it this way.

Super pics! Agreed, Suzanne Roguette still looks great! Sarah Bullen was also a character I liked on the show. It's amazing how much some people have changed, and others much less so after thirty plus years. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Thanks VoyagerOne. Let's go back to the topic with Martin's autograph on my special photocomposition (I got inspired by the ones made by kinggodzillak).

And more photocomposition added to the official photoshoot, a tribute to Martin's career.

Incredible stuff. One day I hope to get a chance to get Martin's autograph since I always felt he was a great actor (meaning his best supporting Oscar from "Ed Wood" was extremely well deserved).

Yes, they were all very nice and willing to talk and pose for photos; I would like to meet Barbara Bain and Nick Tate one day.

Great photos - especially the group photo - thanks for sharing them.
Interesting conversation you mentioned with Sarah Bullen.
Did you get a chance to chat with the other guests that you met (eg Martin Landau) and if so, what did you talk about ?

I have been attending sci-fi conventions for 10 years and I had many memorable moments with all sorts of actors but the latest event, as you may imagine, was the pinnacle of my experience, so much so to consider not to attend any more event in the future (...or for the next 3-4 months!)

Apart from Sarah these are bits of conversation I got with other Space1999 guests.

Anton Phillips - We talked about another well debated theme (!) on some forums and websites related to the Alpha Child episode. At some point, in order to test Jackie Crawford's hearing he clashes two metallic trays; some people think he doesn't actually do that as the bang would have scared the boy and he would have turned his head. I asked him what he actually did (apologising for the oddity of the questions but we fans are made of this) but he couldn't recall what he actually did. However, some surprise emerged as we went through the original script (which I own - the only original production memorabilia I have and I had taken it with me to have it signed) to find out that the trays should have been dropped on the floor; Anton recalled that the floor was rubbery and would have softened the noise. I also asked why he left after the second episode of the second season and he replied that they couldn't reach a suitable financial agreement.

Prentis Hancock - We commented on a picture we can see in the blu-ray edition where he lays dead on the ground in the Matter of Life and Death episode; he's holding a smoking cigarette! He recalled that the picture was taken during rehearsal and that at that time many of the cast and crew smoked a lot. Then he expressed his views on the new Space 2099 project.

Suzanne Roquette - Chatted briefly about her German origins.

Martin Landau - When I introduced myself and he gathered I am Italian he started to speak Italian! That was unexpected but very nice to hear! He explained that he learned the language back in 1962 when he lived in Rome for more than one year to shoot Cleopatra. He also chatted to my 9-year-old son and said his name is very nice (he's called Martin!); my son replied that Pinocchio was his favourite movie. Old fashioned manners. Very nice to talk to.

Catherine Schell - Embarassing moment when my son told her I am not a fan of the second season!

Sam Dastor - Recalled he was glad to play the part considering the fact he was just called towards the end of the series. We chatted also about the rest of his career.

Alibe Parsons - Another guest speaking Italian, another surprise! She told me she went to Italy for family reasons in the 70s and lived in Rome for many years. Very nice lady.

John Hug - We talked about his favourite episode, the Beta Cloud, where he does a lot of things and told him that when I watched it for the first time when I was a boy I was afraid he was going to die. He laughed and replied that in the world of movies you'll never know...

Sylvia Anderson - As shown before, I got the actors' signatures on a special artwork I made myself (inspired by kinggodzillak!); nearly all actors congratulated me for my artworks and some asked for a copy! Unfortunately, I had one print only with me, I couldn't imagine they would have been so successful. However, Sylvia insisted she wanted a copy and asked her agents to share contact details because she would like to display it in her office! I sent the files and they replied with thanks.
