If it's not too offtopic, I don't remember the cereals, but I do remember that there was such a thing as "Star Trek" TUC crackers. They had cardboard cutout phasers and communicators on the back. The phaser fired an elastic band. This must have been about 1970/71.

hi Rockwell - great info cheers

do you remember this from the day or have you seen a box or a pic of a box more recently..?

I think the back of the SPV box was the same as the ad in TV21, do you have any memory of this at all..? a few of us think it was but not absolutely confirmed yet

There was an MSV on Ebay the other week that finished at £63.00(!) with 8 bidders but the one that killed me,and had I spotted it the day before it ended would have gone for,was a job lot of Kelloggs premiums with an SPV hidden in the middle upside-down!!

I had one one of the mailaway SPV's, it snapped together and was softish vinyl with stickers that fell off quite easily. It did have double sets of wheels though and the shape was good.

well there's the rub: on the one hand its just a cut and folded print-out, but on the other its taken years of research + endless photoshop work to produce

repro boxes seem to go for about £35 to £45 but I'm not sure if that would be a bit low..? if I make them too cheap and sell a few on ebay then they could easily get knocked off

hmmm
