Info Streamlining

You will have noticed a change in the layout.

In order to correct a lot of wasted space and "bulk" at the top of the board (which has bugged me for months), Chat (weekends only) is now at the bottom of the forum main page and the sponsor banners have been moved to prominence at the top right, replacing the rather nice - but largely useless - 'Big Screen' graphic (sorry!).

Please visit and support our sponsors!

I hope the changes will be well received.

I did rather like the "big board" but this does make sense.

Awww ... I miss the 'Big Screen' and its flashing lights. I noticed that change right off this morning. It's part of what made the 'look' unique to an Eagle board. The banners under the ETDC banner always caught my attention easily enough and I could then follow them to their origin. Am I alone in wishing it would return??

Mark whats steamlining?
I take it you mean streamling.

It does make more effective use of the space, but somehow I feel the page has lost something.

ah yes... and that too. The screen adds something, but there may be a space issue especially if things are being steamed/streamed

Lol. I guess we're all tired pups!

I kind of agree it's lost something but it's a 'work in progress'.

Eagle, just a question, I still have the commlock on, as with last week it, is it now on all week, or is something amiss. I don't mind at all, but I don't seem to have anyone to talk to and I'm curious as to why I alone have it.... or are there others who don't realize its there.

Mark,
thatīs it.
Donīt you think it would be better to have the comlock again on the top?
It is really nor comfortable to scroll down the whole page to go there.
Or is it possible to have a button installed to go directly?

Cheers

Not really - I know it's functional but it wastes space at the top - even when the bar is collapsed.

Just press 'End' on your keyboard.

I'll look into that.

In the meantime, you can also bookmark the following URL and have it open as a separate window:
