Thanks Capt.
Love the rear screen projection behind Johnny Swoonara to create the illusion his parade car is passing in front of Marineville tower. As much as I like all the Supermarionation series, the earlier ones with more caricatured characters were able to take risks and push the boundaries of the medium. A setup like that in Capt. Scarlet would have been jarring, but here it simply works and looks right...

the music star guy that marina and atlanta like is a little ugly always thought that his face had been computer animated over troys face

They would have had a bit of a problem with that, Tib. The average computer in 1963 filled a house, and had about 1kbyte memory held on unwieldy ferrite core matrices as big as your fist...if you were lucky. Valves were still very much the order of the day as transistor technology was still unreliable and prone to meltdown due to heat-related bias problems.

The average modern phone would have been considered a supercomputer then.
