Default Replicas Unlimited 23" Eagle

Gday everyone. I found this while snooping around. Is it a good kit accuracy wise?

Not so much from what I hear, but since I own one I'll build it anyway.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some 'good' kits?

Thumbs up Casting around....

Check out Warp, they make the best 12" Eagle around and we have a perma link in the sellers section.

Uncle Bill (Bill Oram) sells really good product, ditto above.

The PE kits 12 & 23" can be modified into good models with additional parts, check the ebay links we have in the Taybors Emporium.

Unfortunately other than the Warp 12" Eagle kit, there are no other 'accurate' kits out there unless you build yourself a 44" Eagle from the various parts available on the forum and elsewhere - which is almost a scratchbuild.

There's a definite 'hole' in the market for an accurate 22" Eagle to complete the set...

Thanks fellas. I think its going to be the 44" for me. I have 2 kits Im obligated to buy over the next weeks & after that Im going to start collecting parts for a 44". So now just have to make a list of all the parts I need(other than kit parts for detail) & see if I can get on some runs I think I'll start a new thread for that. A planning/working thread

From the builds of the Replicas Unlimited kit I have seen on this forum & others I think it's a great looking model. There may be some inaccuracies but so what, it makes an impressive display piece.

I've been working on mine since May. It's definitely a "challenging" kit, but I have high hopes for it when it's completed. The hardest part for me so far has been the lack of some kind of painting guide. I have had to go by pictures of other people's builds and the original Eagles and try to figure out what's what. At this point I've got all the main assemblies built & painted white and I'm psyching myself up to tackle the rest of the painting.

Default Still in production?

Does Replicas Unlimited still offers the 1/48 scale Mark IX Hawk for sale?
