I'm sure Brian said something about ordering the third Eagle from the new company to help them get started?
I'm not sure if I read it somewhere or he said it during the interview we did.

Geek answer...

Another type of eagle is mentioned and features in Dragons Domain Season 1

Called Docking eagle... this eagle has small boosters behind the CM (Geek for command Module) and is yet another excuse to purchase another PE 12"

P.S .. i am a sc-fi Nerd... Geeks like Star Trek! (The prime directive..phooey,bunch of do-gooders)

LONG LIVE THE DEATH STAR!

What about "paper cut out eagle", i am sure i saw this explode on the launch pad on one of the episodes where everything gets trashed (featured Hawks).

I have around 17 Eagles, including the 12 inch chrome transporter and my all time favourite - the 12 inch gold transporter.

What I would like to know from any experts out there is was an all black 'Stealth' Eagle ever released (or going to be released) - I think it would look great.

Otherwise I may have to resort to dipping one of my more tatty Eagles into a tin of black gloss paint.

Personally, I'd go for a can of GW Chaos Black, with detail panels picked out in gloss or satin varnish.

There are some publicity photos of the second 44" Eagle sitting in the Psychon graveyard and kitted out with the lab pod and spine booster still sporting it's season one paint scheme and those little thrusters stuck to the back of the CM.

Regarding the scale of the Eagle models, I wanted to point out a quote from Mr. Johnson... particularly that of the larger Eagle at 1/19th vs the common 1/24th assumption:

"We are paying very strict attention to perspective and detail. For instance, we have constructed the Eagle spacecraft model in three scales. The largest is 4 1/2 feet long which represents a size of approximately 76 feet or a scale of 1/19th. The next is about 1 1/2 feet long and smallest is 8 inches in length. This gives us a lot of versatility and it provides us with the ability to place an Eagle against any size of background and have the effect show a great feeling of bigness."

Can't find the other posting regarding scale, but here's my source (which I own):

As JD poiints out, that's unfortunately where the theory all falls down. All three models were (rounding up) 44" long.

EAGLES lengths?... scales?... but all(if full-scale) are 76 feet long.

Having only just discovered this thread, I still feel I should point out that the largest eagle was only just over 3 1/2 feet long, not 4 1/2 feet so the scale that Brian gave is also incorrect. The only concrete fact he gave was, that a real eagle is 76 feet long.
Therefore:
76x12=912

912/43.25= 21.08 or - near as dammit - 1/21 scale NO?
