Default Advice needed: flexible matt black tape for trim

Hi everyone

Does anybody have any suggestions for a matt black tape which could be used to do the trim on my Captain Scarlet cap.

We used electrical tape but its shiny and doesn't quite look right.

The tape would need to be laid flat but curve around the outside line of the cap - in otter words it should be capable to be forned into a flat letter 'O' or 'S' without buckiling if you know what I mean..?

cheers
Mike

*** its a life-size cap btw, not a puppet scale one ***

Letraset Letraline tape would probably be your best bet.

3M makes a vinyl for street signs that might work. I'll see if I can "aquire" a bit.

Hi Mike,
I work for the local municipality, but I've used 3M sign products for the last 25 years.
I grabbed a few outdated "samples". It's not as matte as I'd of hoped, but it's worth a shot. Some sheeting, 1/2" & 5/8" border, and some precut corner radius'.
PM me your address and I'll get them in the mail to you tomorrow.
Cheers, Jeff
