Default Angel Interceptor

Bought this a while back and forgot to mention. No idea what kit it is but whoever built it did a damn fine job.

The Interceptor is approx eight inches in length.

Very nice - saw that on Ebay at the time, but didn't follow who eventually won it...

Any idea which kit it is (Airfix or Imai)

I kinda agree with Northerner, the runway sorta outshadows the interceptor, but the two combined make a great diorama

Just goes to show how a fantastic diorama can enhance a kit.Sometimes even become the center of attention.

Just to echo the comments about the diorama a bit: A simple base can really bring a kit to life, instead of the kit just sitting on a shelf or in a display case. Doesn't take a whole lot of effort, either!
My son has a cheap, lightly detailed Sopwith Camel model kit he's putting on a small plaque covered with Woodland Scenics turf, and is adding some stacked crates to one side and a ground crewman by the plane. Simple, but effective, and enhances the poor quality of the kit by creating a scene to look at. (Of course, nothing can really hide the kit's quality, so in this case, the base is more of a distraction than an improvement, but he's still having a lot of fun doing it, and has more to show for his effort.)
