Default Toybash RC Sci Fi Truck

Here is a RC sci fi vehicle I have just completed, built from a couple of cheap toy rubbish trucks and a Bruder toys dozer cab. The chassis incorporates Venom Creeper running gear. The full build can be found on my blog,

Part 1, Part 2, Part3, Part4, Part 5, Part 6, Part7.

It can also be found as a thread on the-RPF here.

I would have run a build thread on eagle transporter but there doesn't appear to be a build category for original designs only finished models.

Thanks for looking.

Level 42 Wizard!

Impressive level of detail. Love the weathering.

Australind huh? I guess you need something to keep you occupied down there. (Former Perthie).

Weathering and paint chipping is brilliantly executed. You have Jedi-level modeling skills. Thanks for the build links - I'm off to be enlightened.

The large round vent shapes are a couple of cut down wheels from the rubbish truck toy. The trapezoid shape is mainly the top of the engine casing from the Bruder toy dozer with some added details. The rectangular box behind the trapezoid is the bottom casing from an old RC servo.
The rest is pretty much assorted kit parts, evergreen sheet, and styrene and foamed pvc sheet.

That is a tank hull top, in fact it is a urethane casting from a silicon mold of a matchbox 1/72 Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. F/G. The mold was made in the late 1980's and has a bunch of other parts from the same era. I still have some of the wheels left over from that kit.

That's extremely impressive in all fronts - design, build, paint and weathering!

Really like that!

For those who requested to see more of my work...

Here on Eagle Transporter can be found my latest completed model;
ShuttlePod

and some old spaceship models

There is a pile more stuff on my blog;
rcscifi.blogspot.com.au

I also mirror my build threads from my blog on The RPF forum as there is unfortunately no category for build threads on Eagle Transporter for original designs, only finished models.

Some current build threads found on my blog and mirrored on theRPF;

Cargo Lander

EscapePod

Moon Bus

Thanks for all the kind comments.
