The Buck Rogers Starfighter (aka Thunderfighter) STILL stands out as one of the best space fighter designs ever!

I believe you are correct that the BSG 1978-80 artwork included the Starfighter design with the chosen Viper design.

The EARTH DEFENSE DIRECTORATE STARFIGHTER from "BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY" 1979 movie and 1979-1981 TV series. I have seen it mentioned everywhere, however, when were they referred to as THUNDERFIGHTER?

If you were doing a Buck Rogers starfighter, how much would it come in at?

I've been looking for this and even the reportedly rather duff Draconian Marauder.
