Default Oak Park Model Show 24th/25th July 2010

Here's some good pic's of the inaugural Oak Park Model Show, held at the
1st Oak Park Scout Hall a few weeks back........

Was a good turn out for the first show, well structured with some really good quality displays-
"Northern Area Modellers" (NAM) organised the event- and did a great job too !

Well done and a great effort !

The Eagle Laboratory and gantry is a beautiful build. The Buck Rogers Starfighter has awesome detail and of course the Police Eagle has a cool paint job with those red & blue pursuit lights too.

Look at the long table shot, think you'll find that's 22"

She's one of my birds-

23" long 'Replicas Unlimited' with some serious heavy duty modifications !

I put her on e-bay some time ago, prior to the birth of my daughter, but did'nt sell.
However, now young Georgia is enjoying attending all the model shows we can get to !!

Thats a great build. The gantry ,pad and the Eagle look flawless. I have to say I'm rather taken by the picture of the U boat. Beautifully weathered paint scheme ,it reminds me of the one from "The Land that Time Forgot" that I wanted desparately as a kid!

Big Boris that Eagle and gantry are impressive, the ground crew adds a level of realism. Cool, that is an awesome display.

Splendid models.

Especially the Eagle Laboratory and the Buck Rogers Starfighter.
