This teaser movie poster for UFO 2011 is another right step to this Gerry Anderson remake...steady as she goes. 2010 will be fascinating to observe the making of this motion picture!

That interceptor looks almost steampunk to me...

Yes, I see what you mean. People won't like it if its too far from the original. We all know how people felt with the latest Enterprise, though it worked ok ultimately... and it actually looked like the original. Frakes stay away

It would be more impressive if we can see more details of the new
Moonbase Interceptor that is on that poster.

I love the way everyone is freaking out over a teaser poster which doesn't show much. Seriously people, a little optimism. Don't condemn the film before it even comes out. Just read the interview with the director. He gets it. Calm down.

Hi Captain, No-one's 'freaking out' OTT much? some, just having 'read' the interview first and been 'optimistic' are 'slightly' perturbed by the how despite the directors assurances the apparent 'visible' changes to the interceptor are possibly a little obsessive.

No one is condemning the film before it's made either, merely passing favourable/non favourable comment on what's been presented so far, and up 'til that teaser I personally was feeling very optimistic, that optimism now slightly waning.

I thought it was one of those tall, three-legged, orange juice squeezers photographed from an unusual angle. Bring back 'Ask the Family'.

Just posted this over on starshipmodeller [ plus a tiny bit of news in case anyone hasn't seen it ]. At least they seem to be heading in the right direction so far but we need to see more.

The original SHADO INTERCEPTOR had such a impressive lethal weapon design carrying that bow mounted massive nuclear missile. The aliens knew SHADO meant business.
