seen in Barcelona, the puppet plays and sings old jazz songs. Very cool to watch and same scale, controls as Tbirds etc....

A work of art. How long did it take you to make stingray?

Thumbs up

Thanks for heads up guys. There is some very interesting stuff and I've spent a few thousand £'s in my head (worrying as I don't have that kind of money ).

I like the way you can zoom in on the items for sale and got a great close up look of the Guards head - lot 108.

Cheers

Andy

Thought [i] would share these which I picked up recently from a well known C21 employee, who recovered them from a bin in 1969 in the puppet workshop! Two original puppet heads, both smilers, Cpts Grey and magenta. Neither head was finished at the time, although they were subsequently wigged up, but I`m doing them again. Interestingly, the Magenta is the only original of that character known to exist. The Grey is a `grinner` with a fixed mouth, matches the Blue, Green and Fawn which still exist from the same set.

I'm constantly amazed by your finds, Chris! It's also interesting to see these heads in a 'raw' unfinished state. A lot of effort went into making these heads and they always seemed to have a few half finished ones hanging about. Was it in case of accidents as in the case of Terry Curtis' extra Paul Travers head?
