Default A little diversion....

Hi Duey,

Looking forward to seeing this one come together. I am certain in the BSG movie one of the ships passes across camera and right in full view is an Airfix Eagle beak as part of the kit detail/wiggits. An interesting full circle, maybe someone could screen grab it?

Don't ask me why I remember this, I just do..

Default When is an Eagle not an Eagle....?

Look at those Airfix Eagle kits... wow

The Eagle I beak I mentioned was partly covered by a Saturn V body tube (first stage I think) and it passed right in front of the camera during a fly by shot of the fleet, model went left to right.

I will have to dig out, screen grab and show here. This begs the question, have we seen Airfix Eagles any where else?

Nice pictures BTW, I love this stuff.

Steve I have to ask, did you ever make a 4 foot BSG replica and display it hanging from the ceiling in the store in roughly 1986/87/88? Strange question but I have a photo in my collection of this model, I will try to look in my storage and find it.

Carry on

Yeah Atlantia though it was very rough and ready back then(I was a lot younger...)-at the same time there was a similar sized Galactica hanging in Antics in Gloucester built by someone who worked for the Beeb allegedly.
Now I've got a set of Charles Adams plans, eventually the 3'6" mk 4 version will rise

Well, at least the two of you know what part you're talking about.
