Hey Duey!
Great to see another Movers ship in progress.
I started mine 10 years ago after seeing Jim Creavings replica in Florida. It's been on hold for over 5 years as I was moving all over the planet for work. But I will be finishing it off very very soon.

Was handy that a new picture appeared not long ago (black and white one) that showed a whole bunch of new details. So now I need to make some changes.

One quick question, where did you get the castings of the 4 pieces that go on the center section? These are the bit's I need to get/replace:

Even better!
I'm basically after everything you see in that image. Most of them I've scratched a replacement, but if it's a casting off the right kit, all the better. The main thing are the 4 center pieces and 3 'caps'. PM me what you have and I'll place an order :-)

I don't, a friend of mine has a bunch of kits used on the Galactica, going through them I found that bench piece (a few years back). There's also one other piece from that kit that's used. I had already scratch built that piece and was amazed at how close I was so I haven't replaced it yet. Keep finding them on ebay but they go for more than I want to pay for 2 pieces! So if someone casts them I'll buy that for sure.

Ok, I think what I can cast up will help us both of us out.
The Ferrari 312t part is the hardest to find, if you can get one let me know.
But I do have most of the other parts, I will PM you when I get a list together.

It uses loads of Airfix Saturn V pieces! So it's almost family :-)

Well, I have a head scratcher there are these parts that are in the Hasegawa 1/72 Morser Karl. (see picture 1)
Now there are 2 types of the Hasegawa 1/72 Morser Karl.
The 041 or the 040 in picture 2 is the 040 one.
So which one?

Default Not less.... More, more, MORE!!!

Hi Guys,

I have said this elsewhere but it can bear repeating:

"I learn as much about the art of model making from non Anderson builds as I do watching another Eagle/Hawk fly. I build from just about every Sci-Fi subject".

Once we have sorted out and reorganised the thread structure, there will be a home for every type of build. If it interests you, it interests me. We share this place after all.

For me personally the really interesting stuff is the building journey itself. As experience from doing grows, the planning gets better and a really good model maker can make anything.

Learning how to plan, executing the plan well and the building decisions that are made along the way can be a joy to behold.

This thread is pure joy for me so keep it coming chaps

Carry on
