Default Dr Who Exhibition for Newcastle upon Tyne

Just been talking to one of the managers at The Centre For Life in Newcastle.

He's really excited about the forthcoming Dr Who exhibition which will take up the whole of the lower floor and be much bigger than the one held here a couple of years ago. Starts in May and runs for 6 months and will feature original props from the NEW series after episodes have aired.

(He's a top bloke as he still has his Dinky Frieghter complete with all canisters and magnet)

Yep looking forward to this. I have been to the one in Cardiff and that was pretty cool.

I know a little girl and a couple of young lads who would love to go see this ! And maybe their Dad's too.

It's in a good location near to the central station too, so I reckon it will be busy.

Any takers for a forum meet up?

As you say, right next to the station and Newcastle is a lively place with plenty to distract the family.

I honestly don't know. He's a 'client' and I've known the family for years. He runs the planiterium and the exhibitions and was all fired up about it. I know he was keen to run parallel events. It was just a thought.

I believe that there will be lots of stuff from the new series on display. Also according to the BBC there will be a travelling Dr Who roadshow before the series premiers, in which Matt Smith and Karen Gillan will be answering questions and introducing a special screening of the first episode "The Eleventh Hour" Nearest one to Newcastle will be Sunderland.
