Default Frog Bristol Bloodhound

there is one on ebay at the moment.

i need one of these for my fire engine build, but they are rare as hens teeth and go for silly prices so I wont be bidding as I cant afford to.

however there is some shots of the parts there, which may identify some other missing parts, as we know the kit was used in stingray and thunderbirds

that is just plain mental. when i originally checked it out it was 200 and at first i thought you had put the decimal point in the wrong spot, but how wrong was i. for very serious collectors only
cheers Paul

It is very sought after and ultra rare. The box looks mint too. Don't forget, to go that high in price, there must be others prepared to pay almost the same price. Definitely one for the kit collector. If only one could've seen the price they go for now when they first came out?

I was just happy that id finally seen some pics of whats in the box, nothing in there that looks like weve been trying to find.

at least its based on a real prototype, and we can scale up from the airfix one.

not too hard to copy in plasticard.

Quite.

I remember seeing these on the shelves when they were a Frog catalogue item. One of the reasons this is rare kit is was the original RRP was in relative terms extremely expensive - certaintly not A pocket money purchase and it would be a top end Christmas/birthday present.

Since then I only seen one in the 'flesh' and that was priced at 1200, ten/eleven years back, so the eBay price is certainly in line in whats gone before.

If one wants a Bloodhound to build, you could not go wrong with this.

That is a lot of money for a kit, but as mentioned if its ultra rare and there are several bidders then the price will go through the roof. Its just a shame that eBay will get a large chunk of the dosh...
