Exclamation Scheduled Weekly Maintenance Wednesday 2pm GMT

Hi,

Starting this week there will be a scheduled downtime / Maintenance every Wednesday at 2pm GMT ( to allow you guys your lunchtime fix), most weeks this will just be used to backup the current website / forum Database and should be around 1-3 hours.

Some weeks there may be other things we aim to do during the maintenance which may extend this window, in those cases a post will be made in this thread in advance of the maintenance.

Default E-Mail.

Just a question, hope I'm not jumping the gun here. When and how do we get Eagle Transporter E-Mail accounts then? Also will this be just an AMC benefit?

These will be rolled out once we are happy that the move has been successful and will be implemented as part of our overall plan to grow and evolve eagletransporter.com

Yes an @eagletransporter.com email address will be an AMC member benefit.

Cheers,

Chris

Had to agree to 'Forum rules' before I could post a reply today is this a new thing or have I inadvertently triggered a response by trying to post an ebay link?

Yeah because we added updated T&Cs and the forum rule system update, all users have to agree to the new T&Cs before they can continue using the system.

Thanks for testing it :-).

Ouch. That makes for incredibly dry reading. However, given what has happened on occasion, I suppose it was inevitable that this had to come to pass.

....don’t ask me why but when scrolling down the ‘Forum Rules’, that famous 2001 scene showing Dr Heywood Floyd reading the Aries 1B toilet instructions came to mind…

Great job karr1981, your dedication to maintain our forum afloat has been nothing short of impressive. Thank you very much for all the effort, time…and patience!

Default HMmmm!

I had a reply to something.... But after reading the "rules" I've completely forgetten what I was going to write!

This one was my favorite!!
"Nothing in the Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees. "
Who lays awake at night and thinks this stuff up??

All looks good from here too. So it was all due to a slow machine?

Default Host transfer....

Hi Guys,

Yes, we are back but with a different service package. basically more room to grow.

The transfer is complete and I have to say they were a dream company to work with, Chris (karr1981) did an excellent job with Carl from the hosting company.

I would still like to see us reporting good or bad for a week or so, just to be sure all the international members are getting as good as we have in their time zones.

Fingers X'd, so far so brilliant
