Circumference is 562 mm. You will have to consider for the total length the thickness of the panels and the distance between the panels. Will let you know the measurements.

I painted the body to make visible the imperfections. There are air bubbles on the side panels, will fix that. I taped the middle panel where the door is situated. An open door would look cool. Not sure if I’ll do this modification. The buildup takes as usual more time than expected. And I should move on with my 44” eagles and two other big projects. I put some 44” eagle parts aside for reference. Next week I concentrate on the back part.

Thank you for the info and photos. Yes, I would appreciate the lengths and widths of the various panels when you get the chance. You could email me too: jbot ... at ... rogers ... dot ... com.
Thanks. |

The decals are already ready, but to be sure they fit this specific model in this scale I was hoping to get some measurements of the panels. If someone can send me the dimensions of the panels or scans of the parts, then I can ensure my art will fit.
You can see the decal sheet and order it here: http://www.jbot.ca/space/ultra.shtml Thank you. Jimbo |

See this photo attached. I am wondering what the dimensions are of:
A - The major side panel from top (almost centre) to bottom (almost centre) B - The minor top (and bottom) panel width C - The length of all these panels all around the module D - Should be half of A, from above Assuming good symmetry, I dont need measurement C for each panel all the way around the module, just any sample of C anywhere would be fine. |

On my assembled elliptic stretched model:
A 221 mm B 53 mm C 102.5 mm measured with caliper rule D half of A panel thickness 1.16 with caliper rule space between panels 2.8 mm +/- The problem may be that the model can't be assembled without the help of an inner structure and may be not everyone will come to the same final curvature? Quote:

Skyfullofstars - great work on your build, I totally understand the challenges of attaching the front and rear halves to the mid section. I recommend strongly that when assembling the kit start by assembling the kit in two halves, upper and lower. Center top cmd to center top mid and rear top center to mid center point. After which you can easily align and glue as you go. There is a resulting gap between the top and bottom halves but its a small price to pay for zero stress assembly and all other seams match flawlessly. As small strip of styrene and putty and your done. I would recommend anyone able to purchase this kit should, it's HUGE and WELL DONE! I should state I left the rear plate off on both my builds to allow me access to the interior, you may elect to install your plate before sealing halves together. The kit is absolutley marvelous work and look forward to more of the same kits in the future!
![]() ![]() JBOT DECALS - some advice since I just assembled both of my kits, I recommend you make decals A + D longer by 2-3mm each. The reason being as descibled above. ![]()

Hi Propland, thanks for sharing your build up. It’s for sure the way to avoid any stress on the body. I’d like to have a bigger access possibility than through the rear plate. The reason I make the rear part removable. And I can fully agree with you and all who have this kit, it’s a fantastic and marvelous piece.
