Default X-Bomber on SSM gallerie

Really impressive IMO: http://www.starshipmodeler.us/galler...1_xbomber.html

I haven't seen much builds of this subject over the years. Anyone else has built or seen others?

Nope, but it's on my 'to do' list And yes Bernie, the DVD box set was released last year, well worth a watch, although a bit thin on extras

Oo, just had a look at the pics, very nice, but maybe a tad too thin in the body and wing-dunno I'm building a large 'Brain Com' model myself-very soon

If I am honest I thought the puppet set up was better than Terrahawks. I really liked the rubber face mechanical operation, the rubber glove Terrahawks puppets looked so unnatural.

The X-Bomber operation was heavily influenced by early Anderson shows that's obvious but they really executed it well. The production design was really good too.

I will look for the DVD's to see if my memories of the show are still good.

Wow, beautiful model!

There's a thread for the DVD release. There is a deluxe edition with cards and booklets, etc and a "slimline" edition, about half the price with just the DVDs. Image quality isn't perfect but is better than old VHS dubs. I liked the documentary quite a bit.

Agree. I always thought that Starfleet did the best possible compromise with the puppetry mechanics. I bet some of them were really very intricate.

Default X-BOMBER MODEL?

I had an X-BOMBER Toy a few years back, It was ok! but not very accurate,

Bright Red with white stipes, Wing tip mounted missile launchers, and a Dia-X
Figure which launched from under the neck of the craft as well as firing a Brightly coloured disc.

Maybe Bandai will do a toy in the High End range.
