Hi All,

Sorry for the stupidly short notice but Mat Irvine is co-hosting a model show tomorrow, Hanslope, Bucks, MK19 7NZ:

http://www.hamex.co.uk/

I'm sure there will be some Blake's 7 exhibits present, there will certainly be Bacon butties on sale!

I'm going, I'm pretty sure Exterminator is going, maybe see some of you there?

Cheers,

Andy

The show was very good, slightly bigger than last years.

Lots of reasonably priced kits and accessories on sale, friendly retailers and customers all round.

Mat Irvine had K9 on display and a good array of B7 miniatures.

When I first arrived with Karyn it was really quite busy, however it slacked off a bit after lunch and was fairly quiet towards the end of the day.

I met Exterminator, which was very pleasant, at the show around lunchtime.

Together we took advantage of both the quieter period and Mat Irvine's generosity and we indulged in a few photos and flicking of the tape measure!

Photos to follow....

The bacon butties were their customary delicious selves and at the end there was free cake!

Very dodgy characters these two, seen loitering for long periods of time near old lumps of plastic and resin!!!

I see three eagle Transporter pod bases on the bottom of that grey one (Nova Queen)
What else do the experts see?

Originally, the Nova Queen had "skids", made from Airfix Eagle spines. There's also quite a few X Wing kit parts and a couple of Airfix SR-N1 kits.

There's also the turret from a 1:72 or 1:76 tank kit (at the bottom right of the big rectangular void) - we've had a quick look (like you do!), and the closest thing we could find that looks like it is this Italeri T34/76 kit, because it's got a big hatch on the top and is roughly the right shape (it wouldn't have been this particular model, as I've read that it was introduced in the 90s). Can any tank expert do any better? If you can then "tanks" a lot!!
