Default B7 "SECURITY ZONE" sign

Here's a little something I've been working on, a replica of the "SECURITY ZONE" sign seen at the beginning of the Series 2 episode "Pressure Point".

It's only on screen for about two seconds, but I thought it would make an "interesting" build, as it's weathered and rough-looking. Here's the original:

Here's my version, nice and clean:

... and here's the fully-weathered version:

When the weather's a bit less wet, I'll take some piccies of in in the long grass, to match the original shots.

Nice , unusual piece too. Is it going up in front of your house? That'll deal with those people who want you to switch electricity suppliers.

Thanks!

That's a good idea, I'll also criss-cross bits of old computer ribbon cable across the garden path, for added effect!!

Thanks!!

I like to keep busy, and there's a lot of Blake's 7 stuff that needs to be built!

Free gift- if you click here, you'll be taken to my "Blake's 7 Biggies" folder on Photobucket, where you'll find the original-size image of the "clean" version, with the background removed - copy it, print it (big as you can), and there you have it - instant sign!!

Somebody mention an Andy???... LOL
My "little London" is taking shape Phil.... I may have to think about posting pics for you.Damn coning tower type piece is so small and fiddley i may have to re-do it.Oh and i cheated with the drilled out sandwich pieces and just went with the square non perforated finish.Again when i get a tiny 0.5 mm drill-bit i'll maybe drop some holes in it..
I'll carry on, oh and most excellent signage there sir, impressed muchly..
Regards Andy ( The Newbie )

Outstanding work as always Phil, could be a very useful prop as well.

So, are you going to do a 'smoking' pair of combat boots to go with the sign??

Cheers,

Andy
