Default Studio Scale UFO Limpet

Airfix Saturn V, Airfix Superfort and Adams/UPC/LifeLike Honest John...

and Invaders UFO?!

Anyone know the first issue date of the Invaders UFO?

The rocket bell could be the Revell 1/48 Apollo. Anyone know what the bit of girder work might be - kit or DIY?

I also ID'd those parts a few years back on the Space 1999.org forum.
Like yourself I was also stumped on the engine bell .Its not from the 1/48 Lunar Lander, I have both versions of that kit by Revell.
Anyone?

The Invaders UFO was first released by Aurora in the 60's Monogram has released it about 6 times over the past 30 years.

Chas,

bit confused
I didn't mean the Lunar Lander but the Command/Service Module. Haven't actually got the part out to compare yet so just a guess at the moment.

Looks like an Autogyro rocket launcher half just behind the Invaders saucer roof.

Barry

Barry,

The Invaders UFO came out in 1968 I think.

Incidentally, the bottom of the kit turns up in 'The Man Who Came Back' - just confirming they used it.
Makes quite a nice hatch

Never noticed that before or the B29 undercarriage 'hatch locking mechs'.
