Default Spacex Dioramas

I have wanted to have a go at putting some of my models into slightly more convincing settings (than my usual old table in the conservatory!). This is my first attempt at making a diorama and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Very nice. I have made several dioramas over the years, usually just more complicated bases with a figure or two. Occasionally put in a building or complex terrain, but never yet have put in a sky background. You tackled that on your first go. Good for you.

Thanks, I appreciate that. The top of the tower was the Faller round cafe that I got for the Mole.

Tried some pictures of my Spacex Nova I replica and caught a fluke lens flare that looks quite nice.

(Still can't get imageshack to acknowledge portrait orientation!)

I haven't, but I really want to see what I can do with models alone.

Have you thought of taking them outdoors and photographing them with a real sky? Not that I'm knocking your efforts so far (which are pretty smart), I'm just thinking along the lines of the Doppelgänger rocket shot.

I had thought about it, but I envisage problems with bits blowing away and also you'd need a clear area away from buildings to get an uninterrupted sky.
