Default hello from car-man666

Hi everyone's and greeting from Québec Canada, i'm car-man666 ,or Dan, like my nick say's ,i love cars,, born in 1966,and one of my first iconic film is the Car, with James Brolin, some of you might not know this film ,,but it's not much the subjetc now.I'm also quite interessed by space crafts and sci-fi, from the thunderbirds, ufo,space 1999, star trek, capt Scarlet,Godzilla, and ultraman.and my first passion is models building, then comes guitar playing.I'm a father of 4 kids; 2 girls ,one boy and another girl.i've discovered this site trought Google image looking for specs for my newly arrived model kits TB1 ,TB2,and 3.. and soon to arrive are the mole,TB4,and 5 +Zero X. it look'slike i've found not only fans ,,but real fanatics ,and l love fanatics ,,cos' they are full of info's ,and pertinent info's,, so ,,i'll try to fit in as good as my self can be and hope to chat with anyone that might be interessed of chatting with. So ,thank's for your futur welcome ,and glad to have found this site .Dan

Hello Dan, Another 1966-vintage guitarist modeller over here! Although these days I play bass in a jazz band, and then mostly acoustic for my own pleasure.

hello Dan and welcome to the forum, you guys are a bit younger than myself and it is always a welcome sight to see another modeller arrive here and I look forward to seeing some of your work. cars we have in common as im an ex mechanic myself.

Hey Dan and welcome aboard. I james and am a fan of all those shows you mentioned including Ultraman. Another favorite of mine was Lost In Space, if fact one of the first sci-fi ships I built was the Jupiter II. But what drew me here was my fanatical love of Space 1999 and the phenomenal eagle transporter. So kick back and enjoy and if real fanatics is what you love then you came to the right place.

ho yeah ! i've forgot about this one ,,and also Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea,
danger Will Robinson danger, another bad plot of Dr Smith,,
yes in deed ,,those were quite good shows ,and i'm getting to familiarise with the site ,and reading past post ,i also have the eagle transporter ,that i think that isn't Worth showing out cos' it aint ,well as a good quality build than you poeple here,cos' i,ve did it with only memories references, but i've just bought the imai one ,,and looking toward to a much better build than my old one. and thank's for the welcome ,you seems to be not only fanatics ,but a good bunch of guy's ,,and maybe girls,, cos' do girls dig sci fi guy's ,,maybe how knows..hehehe

Yeah i built two of the old apc eagle kits when i was 12 or 13 but my modelling skills were not very good and those kits as we all know were horribly inaccurate. Round 2 is bringing them back though so i am thinking of buying a couple and try to accurized them just for practice. You can read more a them here.
