He's relisting it because he's had "many emails to put it back on ebay".

It wasn't you, was it, Andy?!

40 K? why, that's a bargain for a fake model originally listed at 100K! I think I'll just buy that instead of a house..no, wait, I won't, that would be stupid.

Well, the auction finished this morning with (not surprisingly) no bids, but then ... B-O-N-G!! It's been relisted at the same price (40,000).

It's a five day auction, so get your bids in by Friday ... or not.

Hmm, I wonder why it didn't sell, how strange, as he had so many emails to relist it

But honestly, this is really getting beyond a joke now, how many times has he tried to sell it on Ebay now 4 or 5.
Desperation springs to mind to me.
When it was first up I complained to Ebay, but got no reply.

Quite a nice replica studio scale Liberator on ebay, but they want 10,000 quid, which is beyond my budget! Is it made by anyone here?

Ah ha, I can throw a bit of light on this!

This is NOT our friend Chris Tarrant with his 80K Liberator that was on "Four Rooms", this is a chap called Ahmed. He lives in the Southampton area and is/was friends with Chris. He measured Chris' Liberator to enable a copy to be produced. I've met Ahmed, he's a nice chap. He also owns (at least I think he's still got it) a very good replica K-9, exactly like the original dog owned by Mat Irvine - even the interior mechanisms match!

10K is too steep for any sane person's pockets despite it being a lovely looking model.

Yes I thought the same, looks like my wifes tits Phil. Not reinforced I guess, should have had a proper steel armature inside that model. Shame as it's a great replica in all other ways.

You're talking about the model? Phew, yes you are!!

That was the one thing that concerned me when I was building mine. I built one pod out of EMA tubing (which was heavy enough) and cast three lightweight fibreglass pods from it. They're about a third of the weight of the EMA one. Goodness knows how heavy a wooden pod is.

Ten grand? Martin Bower only charged six thousand to build one last time I checked.
