Default Blake Killer Gun

Hi guys,

Andy has asked me to post this image of the remains of the original Blake killer gun prop. This is how it was modified for use in Captain Zepp a later show made at the BBC as an adventure series for children.

I remember seeing many models and cool props from this show and was always amazed at the high quality of the builds and designs. Zepp One was the first model used on the motion control rig at the BBC and was kindly displayed at Mat Irvine's Small Space exhibition at Hanslope in 2013.

Something I forgot to mention, this prop was made by Bill Pearson. I love his style of making props and this is very elegant in concept. Thanks Andy for this image.

Great shot!

It wasn't clear from the pics I have whether the indents on the cylinder were real or painted on. This picture clears that one up. I'll be starting my build on this as soon as I can sort out the rest of the parts for my Clip Gun.

Cheers guys

Hi Guys!
Thanks for the Compliments and Memories about the Blakes 7 / Captain Zep Gun!
Zep 1 [ the Spaceship ] was the first model to be shot by the BBC on Motion Control - but at Brian Johnson's Rig at Arcadon at Bourne End. Some of the problems are mentioned at
my lecture at 'city of glasgow college bill pearson'
Thanks again for your interest! All the Best, Bill.
