Next chopped up some square tubing.
Taped them together so I could sand them all the same.

Out of 3mm perspex cut out the shape of the handle inlay bit.

And after sanding (2 days on and off), now have 4 side panels.

Thank you....how are you doing the handle? I have some 12mm perspex so going to have it solid with a 3mm cover bit on each side...

For the handle I've used various thicknesses of laser-cut perspex to build it up and allow for electronics from the bell-push.

The middle section and trigger are 8mm, sandwiched between two 3mm outer sections, and 2 x 2mm raised grips.

The shoulder stock is 2 x 8mm sections that will be glued together. I've also lathed an aluminium magazine that will fit in the back.

If you want anything cut, lmk, I have a 60w laser that's fantastic for this kind of build

Did you have any trouble getting a good fit on the tubing? I found the sizes listed didn't actually fit together....I would have had to shim every part!

It doesn't look as if the originals fitted either.

I wrapped more tape round it....Used the silver foil stuff that they use for heating pipes, it's a thick sticky backed foil.
