Me too. Bookmarked Mark's original appearance and kept watching for updates to the RU.

When this site first appeared I jumped all over it.

You've done a man's job, sir...and I hope you continue to do it.

Hello

Through Starship Modeler and the British Invasion Fourm, is how I found it.
Its funny for years I thought I was about the only one that still held a fascination for Eagles. Then I disscovered the Internet around 2000 and have been amazed at all the interest and fantastic scratch builds out there.
Good luck on the forum and thanks for all the work put into it.

Have a good one

Via the 23" RU Eagle build. After that I appreciated the list of different Eagle models released. And then the forum appeared...

My doctor and psychologist made me come here ...
... something like the last chance!
Did it help? Well, it did help PE/IR, Jim Small and others (and me )

But being honest, I found it through Google.

Good idea for a thread!

No big epiphany in my case. Watching 'Space:1999' and 'UFO' on DVD made my thoughts turn to the Anderson SFX and then a possible return to scale modelling, having abandoned the hobby in my teens. Google brought me here, and I gorged myself on past posts until the persistent 'You seem to be enjoying....' prompt led me to sign up.
